I'm a long time fan of the Scudden Death games, and I'd personally LOVE to see Scudden Death ported to XNA and the XBOX platform. I feel that with only some minor improvements and modifications, the game would make a superb split-screen experience for console players.
I can safely say I'd be one of the first to purchase such a game if it were released, and should you decide to go through with it, I would be happy to offer my suggestions and ideas to you.

Domenic Team has just recently released a game/enterainment app for the iPhone and iPod touch. Search for gScreamer in the App Store in iTunes, or use this link:

Hi Sir Gunny.
No, I haven't got a DeviantArt account. I looked at your creations, and I think they look good. I might contact you if I need something.
Well, I haven't really done anymore work on the iPhone game I was starting on. It was hard to find time and motivation for it as it was quite complex. But I have rather started on simpler game/useless app instead. Won't disclose what it is yet, as the idea can easily be copied by someone else. But it should be completed soon...

Yeah, it's been a while Bjorn. I didn't know if you had a DeviantArt account [dA] or not, but I guess you're not that heavily invested in game art, so you wouldn't, eh.
Visit my DeviantArt [tabnir.deviantart.com] sometime haha. I don't know if I can help in any way since I'm not very good, but maybe I can offer something.
Hey, best wishes on those game projects. Job's going fine?

Hello. Sir Gunny: Sorry for late reply. What's a dA? Btw. I haven't gotten to work on the space game, but I have bought a MacBook and an iPod touch, and have started on a picture puzzle game. Haven't been working it much yet though... BlueMaxima: Nice to hear that you like the game. Raye Francis: I have sent you an email with a new code.

Dear Domenic Team, I had played this game about 2 years ago, and then, unfortunately, completly forgot it's name. I loved the game so much, though, that I searched and searched, for those two years, wondering, "Am I ever going to see that game again?" I looked all through Google for help. Nothing. Now, today, I remembered the game supported custom missions, so I entered Google Image Search (I remembered what the game looked like) and typed 'scorch game (as I had remembered the game was kinda like Scorched Earth) custom missions' and... BINGO:- The first game was Scudden Death 2. Now that I have found the game again, I can rest peacefully with my Scudden. Please, continue to make awesome games. I'm behind you every step of the way. Signed, BlueMaxima Now, if you excuse me, I have to go play some Scudden. The download just finished.

What about to make more aggressive AI in Skirmish, making better defense, building offense and making real tank, copter, and plane attacks? It will bring sc2 to new "never ending fun" direction..... Just new patch with it ..... BTW i love the game... good work guys ...

I think it's probably time to move on -- the space game sounds refreshing and promising. If SD is to be ported to XNA, I think the balance and gameplay mechanics would have to be tweaked at first; I tried to teach some of my friends to play SD2 but they had a hard time memorizing all the key combos to get stuff rolling, haha [and missiles are way too haxy in retrospect xD]. Really happy to hear from you Bjorn ^^ [and hey Armageddon]

Hello! Me and my brother are actually thinking of creating a new game. Just recently (within 1 or 2 months) I read about the XNA game framework from Microsoft that enables creating games for Windows and XBOX 360 using the C# language. I first considered porting Scudden Death 2 to this new framwork, and maybe selling it on XBOX 360. But another idea also came up. It's really a game idea that's several years old. A space game with gravity, where stars, planets, moons, etc. obit each other. (Maybe calling it "The Space Game", or "Bombs and Gravitons", or something else.) Might have several play modes: mission, dog fight (multiplayer splitscreen and also maybe online play), race (fly "tracks" in space that are set up using gates. a to b race, and/or laps), multiplayer race. The player controls a space ship, rotating it using left/right and up for thust, fire for fireing weapons. Might have weapons like laser, bullets, missiles, and mines. The space ship has also got limited fuel. Might having fuel stations where the ship can refuel. The gravity also works on the weapons, e.g. having the laser beam being bent towards nearby planet, etc. And might also have the ship being able to fire a grappling hook that can be fired at a planet, using it to sling shot the ship around the planet, but might also be used for dragging planets (maybe having missions where objectives are to move a planet in order to avoid a planet colliding with another planet, etc). And the grappling-hook-sling-shot move can be used in race-mode to quicly change directions for improving lap times. And there are also enemies, like gun turret, missile turret, mines, homing mines, laser turret, etc. Maybe also having the radar-logic as in Scudden Death where the enemies can shoot missiles that follow the ship as long as the ship is inside radar range. And maybe the ship can hide in the radar shadow behind planets, etc. And maybe having a radar screen (like in GTA) where planets and enemies show up, and where also the radar shows up, which also indicates areas covered by enemy radar, and where also the radar shadow is indicated, e.g. behing planets. I haven't really started working on the game yet, but have made some sketches on paper. Maybe i can create a new webpage (e.g. domenicteam.com/thespacegame/) with some more info and sketches. Mabye a blog-style webpage where people can post comments, suggestions, etc. Or what do you think? Should I port Scudden Death 2 to XNA, or create the new space game? As for porting Scudden Death 2, I don't just want to port it having it exactly the same, so if I am going to port it, it want to create it better (e.g. having rotated sprites istead of having the cars and tanks always having the same angle), maybe having zoom in/out in addition to scrolling, etc. Maybe you have some other ideas for improvements?

If you don't plan to continue scudden death. Why not make it GPL? You can still keep it commercial but let registered users modify and learn from the source code.
